It was my “time in the sun” … my “house in Provence” … my “AFL premiership” … my “FA Cup” … I was finally the chief bread-winner in the house again, somewhat supported by Hedy’s leave payment of course. But, for a short 6 weeks at least, I found myself in the rightful role for the alpha male of the house … the hunter-gatherer supporting my small but important tribe!
Its over … Hedy has another, and this time exciting, job … and I return to the lowly public servant status that has been my life for so long now!
