A day off today to deal with a few different tradespeople visiting. First cab off the rank was the Gas Shop installers, who replaced our old wood fire with a brand new gas jobby. More photos by clicking on the image above.
For future reference it is about 34 degrees here in Adelaide today, but we had to burn the bloody thing flat out for an hour (45 minutes really) so that it got all de-fumed etc. Chloe is now melted to the lounge floor, but the rest of us survived.
Next installer was to be the guy doing our cafe blinds, but after unloading everything he realised that the factory had not supplied the correct tracks … so that is going to have to wait for a week or so. Bugga!
After a couple of pretty busy weeks at work it has been great to have a day at home … I even managed finally to upgrade the webserver installation to the latest version of the WAMP package I am using.
